Carpool drop-off, parking procedure for VVC
Beginning January 2, VVC will ask you to use a carpool
arrangement for player drop off and pick up to help reduce
the traffic congestion at the top of the hill. Clearly, during
high use times, the current parking system is not working
very well. Please use the following procedures:
1) Follow "Player entrance" sign at the bottom
of the hill (back of the building). We've designated the right
hand door (middle back of the building) as the player and
coach entrance
2) If you choose to park, you may use the spaces behind the
building as long as supplies last; once those spaces are full,
please park along the side of the building and use side entrance)
3) If you choose to drop off your player, please loop around
the rear parking spaces, drop your player off by the right
hand door and proceed to either leave or find permitted parking
(front of the building has been designated DST parking, please
respect that designation or you may be towed)
Please be patient and make every effort to follow our request
to follow carpool and parking procedures to help us reduce
parking chaos at VVC. We want to be good new neighbors and
as both DST and NVVA are busy places for youth sports we need
to find a way to coexist in a positive way. As adults, let's
set an example of how cooperation can overcome parking challenges.
We appreciate your help!
VVC Weather Policy
VVC will make the decision to remain open or close independent
of school districts
Division Directors in consultation with the coach will make
a decision to cancel practice, whether VVC is open or closed
Families need to make their own decision whether they deem
it safe enough to travel the roads
If VVC closes, an e-mail will be sent to all families, the
closing will be posted on the website and the hotline will
be available as a back up | call 703 727-3732
If VVC closes, this decision is final and no one will be
allowed on premises
Should VVC close during hours of operation, VVC staff will
notify everyone and premises must be vacated immediately
