Northern Virginia Volleyball Association
(NVVA) has hired John Teifer to head program development
in several key areas. John will be focused on coaches
training, collegiate recruiting, and player development
at all levels.
I am thrilled to be back at NVVA, says John Teifer,
I have been impressed with the dedication of this organization
for many years and, the opening of its new volleyball
facility, gives me the tools to ensure NVVA continues
to be the premier organization for growing the skills
and interest in volleyball in the Chesapeake Region.
John has over 30 years of volleyball experience at
all levels, both as a player and a coach. NVVA President,
Dean Shumway, noted, It is great to have John back
with NVVA. His resume speaks for itself and there is
no doubt that John is the top volleyball technical director
in this area if not one of the best in the country.
We are fortunate to have him driving the technical development
for our players. Combined with the opening of our new
facility, having John in charge of player and coach
development and recruiting will enable NVVA to offer
the strongest program in the area."
