NVVA Builds a “Home Away from Home for Volleyball Players”

Sterling, VA , August 10, 2009 – The Non-Profit Northern Virginia Volleyball Association (NVVA), is excited to announce the opening of its new volleyball facility, located at 45685 Oakbrook Court, Sterling, VA 20166. This new facility will be dedicated to the growth and development of volleyball for the entire Washington DC area. The facility will have 7 volleyball courts, retail store, practice areas, internet enabled parent lounge and homework room, meeting rooms, and concessions. This facility will allow NVVA to offer best of class volleyball development programs, as well as a top training and tournament venue.

Northern Virginia Teams Finish One and Two at the Virginia Showcase Tournament this Past Weekend in Richmond.

The beginning of the volleyball season has begun, and it started this past weekend in Richmond Virginia with the Virginia Volleyball Showcase at the Richmond Convention Center. This is the 12th year for the event and it brings in 40 of the top girls teams in the state. This includes both public and private school and gives them a chance to see how they can compete against the best. READ MORE
