Northwest Youth Volleyball
Northwest Youth Volleyball (NYV) provides recreational volleyball opportunities for boys and girls in grades 6 through 8 residing in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. NYV is a division of Northern Virginia Volleyball Association (NVVA). Practices are held once a week starting with matches played on Saturdays. NYV focuses on the core skills – Pass, Set, Hit and Serve. The season starts in mid march with two weeks of practices prior to their first of seven weeks of matches and concluding with a Tournament.
Practices are held in Reston and Herndon with Matches on Saturdays in Reston.
Coaches Training/Clinics
NYV is a recreation league that relies heavily on volunteers. We offer a series of coaching clinics, training video’s/DVD’s for prospective coaches. Please contact either the Chairperson or Administrator if you are interested in coaching.
