NVVA Director Strategic Alliances and Partnerships

Position

The role Director of Strategic Programs and Business Development is focused on being the voice of the NVVA both internally and externally in matters relating to national partnerships, branding the NVVA in the global Volleyball arena and facilitating the strategy of the identification, application and execution of Federal Grant’s that further NVVA’s mission. 
 
Responsibilities
·      Promotes NVVA and its vision, mission and Bylaws
·      Acting as the Ambassador for NVVA to national programs and entities such as USAV
·      Establishing NVVA’s strategic direction with regards to NVVA’s position in the national and global Volleyball arena
·      Leading NVVA’s Federal Grant Committee in the identification of Federal Grant and Fundraising opportunities
·      Image awareness of NVVA on a national and global level in concert with NVVA marketing
·      Participates in Board of Directors meetings at least three times per year and Executive Board meetings weekly, or as needed
·      Participates in community efforts to promote NVVA activities
Boston
Qualifications
·      The ideal candidate will have held an executive position for at least five years in which candidate managed departmental functions and assignments
·      Has knowledge of volleyball at the local and national level
·      Must be proficient at large scale planning projects and have knowledge of fundraising projects
·      Experience with program management and grant writing
