NVVA is an organization that takes the safety of our athletes, parents, staff, and community very seriously. During the past weeks, we have been working with county, state, and federal agencies to ensure it is safe to continue the plan to run our Fall 2020 league. After carefully crafting a return to play plan (which MUST be followed at county space middle schools) and constantly improving our processes at the Virginia Volleyball Center, we are pleased to announce that we have been able to fulfill the safety requirements to run our league, and our 2020 season is on its way.
There will be a few modifications to our 2020 season to minimize exposure and maximize our efficiency while trying to keep our athletes safe. These rules and guidelines are non-negotiable and extremely important for a successful and safe LYV season. Each topic has been extensively researched and studied to make sure that it was the best structure for the season. Please note that Open 1 and high school practices will all be at the Virginia Volleyball Center. If that practice location does not work for you, please let us know and we will provide you with a full refund.
You can find more information about each topic below or by visiting our LYV FAQ Page.
